SHOTGUN

 

Women on Target® Shotgun Clinics are an opportunity for women to learn about and shoot shotguns in a relaxed, safe environment along with other women.

 

Clinic includes eye and ear protection,

loaner shotguns, ammunition, targets, and personal instruction by certified, experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Lunch and refreshments also included.

 

All this for only $30!

Q. What shotguns will I be using and can I bring my own shotgun?

 A. We will provide 20ga semi-automatic or over-under shotguns. You can bring your own, but if it is other than a 20ga you will have to provide your own ammunition.

 

Q. What should I bring?

A. Ear plugs and clear safety glasses are provided, prescription glasses and sunglasses are acceptable eye protection. Eye protection must be worn on at all times on the range. Dress comfortably for the outdoors. Keep an eye on the weather forecast – it can be anything from a chilly rain and wind to sunny and hot. Long sleeves, jacket, gloves, hat (baseball cap is best), rain poncho, sunscreen, lip balm. No open toe shoes or sandals – the path on the range is gravel and uneven in places. Bring an elastic, comb, or clip to fasten your hair out of your eyes. Be ready to enjoy our beautiful outdoor range!

A. Besides fun, satisfaction and camaraderie, you will get a certificate, patch, & other materials and information about continued opportunities for women shooters.

Ladies can bring their own firearms and ammunition. Loaner guns are available for those who don’t own firearms.
