The concept of personal protection sounds simple. It may actually be a very difficult and complex situation to act on. When a life threatening situation occurs you have about two seconds or less to react. Whether in your home or in public your behavior prior to a life threatening situation cannot only be the deciding factor on surviving the outcome, it can cause the entire situation to be avoided in its entirety. Many times potential victims never even know how close they were to a potentially life threatening encounter.
